Yesterday was a very exciting day. We had an art day at the after school program where I volunteer, and the kids got to paint! They absolutely loved it, some of them snuck around my back and painted more pages than they were supposed to. But in the end everyone who wanted to paint got to.
After the painting activities, a couple of other volunteers from the program and I wanted to go see a Chinese film at the House of Culture. We happily arrived on time only to notice that there was a sign that said welcome to come with invitations. It also looked a bit fancy. However since one of the other volunteers and I are both Asian, the guard at the door didnt even ask for our invitation, so we got to see the movie! which was very exciting. We also took a picture with the director!
A very adventurous day all in all.
