The Long Awaited Life Blog

Ok, well there is a TON to talk about so I am going to go fast. :D

1. Last week I wrote an 8 page paper critique on religion for my English class which caused me to have 2 all nighters.

2. Last week was Earth Week which was cause of MUCH celebration and fun, we had a 500 Faces of Green Presentation which was the place where Wofford made its pledge to be greener! (YAY!!!). We also had Green movies, a hybrid car show, an organic lunch, AND a band party. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!

3. We had the end of the Symposium on Citizenship and Leadership with some great presentations. One of which was Jean Bethke Elshtain who is a BIG philosopher that we read in my humanities class last semester!

4. Saturday was Terrier Play Day which is a day where a BUNCH of organizations set up booths and stuff for children of Alumni, Parents and the community. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

5. Today we had a speaker on the genocide in Darfur who was great. And, she inspired me to join the movement. So, I am taking part in their 100 Day Tag Team Fast For Darfur. Through this, I will be fasting for the next 2 days and will be raising $45 for the World Food Program's efforts in Darfur to provide aid to those displaced by the genocide to ensure that they get what they need to survive and that other resources may be moved to help to stop the genocide on a whole.

Well, I have to go because I, as always, am busy. BYE!
