It's Almost July???

Though it didn't seem like it at first, the first session is almost over. Which is kinda crazy to think summer's halfway done AND even crazier/stress inducing to think that AHHH - tests and papers and lab reports, oh my!! Actually, not really, but it's just harder to be chill about things like that when all the crazy people around you (organic chemistry, economics classes, cough cough) are freaking.

N1467600050_30056074_7369 ANYWAYS. So Meredith (my roomie) and I decided to go to Walmart the other night and get stuff for pb&j sandwiches. At 2:30 am. Lemme tell ya - best dang pb&j I've had in a while! I was really excited for it, as you can see in my picture.....

Tomas, Meredith, and I went to go see our friend Katy in a musical on Saturday night, after summer orientation. It was called "Smokey Joe's Cafe"; she was FANTASTIC!!!! I'm so glad we went, she was soooo good!!

_mso1424 Oh yeah, I'm apparently on the Wofford homepage??? Thank you people in charge of the website (and by that I mean Kyle and such) for that; at least it's a good picture of me. :)

Alright, my lab report's not writing itself!! Later gators!!

You're like my little duckies!!!

So summer orientation was today - I, as a FABULOUS orientation staff member, got to shepherd incoming freshmen around and show them the Wofford ropes. I feel I may have made a fool of myself several times, told a million parents that it really doesn't matter if you get Marsh or Greene (but Greene's better!! I lived there, HELLO), heard 75% of those ambitious people say they want to be a bio or chem major (good luck with that, you'll prob reconsider that many a time), and would jump and down with excitement upon hearing people were government, history, pre-law, or from north of the Mason-Dixon line. I also KNOW I made a fool of myself when I was talking to a group of students, describing what RPM's do, and said that we each get paired with a group of freshmen, and that "you're like my little duckies" (paired with duckie-herding motions).

[insert laughter and sarcastic remarks]

Coscopix I also went to Costco today - EXCITEMENT!!! Nothing makes me happier than buying a case of pop and 2 pounds worth of coffee. Oh wait, something does - getting free samples and then finishing the shopping off with a hot dog and pop for a $1.50. Yes, Costco and cheap food and pallets full of bulk items makes me excited. I live a strange existence - you can tease if you want.

Let your epidermis feel those UVA/UVB rays!!

Hey dudes! Sooo, like Tomas, I also am at summer school, AND I also have had a pretty hectic and crazy schedule as of late, and hence, apologies cometh for my lateness and lack of blogging.

I'm taking Western Civ (to 1815) and Psych: Concepts and Methods (aka introductory psych for us non-science majors - yayyy!). I was told in class by my psych professor that I exhibit signs of a Type A personality (wiki that if you are unfamiliar). Oh yay.

I was at Myrtle this weekend con my parentals for a little R and R, which turned into me getting some unusual tan/burn lines. First of all, I'm only burnt on the front of my body. Second, it's only bad on the sides of my waist and my shoulders and chest. Third, I used that spray lotion stuff - the "spray on and don't rub and don't worry about it" kind - and now I am the splotchy monster from the tanning lagoon. Yes, I have weird lines and such...it's like someone splattered the sunburn onto me.

I'm not partaking in the water fight festivities, because A) i just got out of lab now and B) I think it's best for me to stay out of the sun as much as possible at the present moment/condition of my skin.

Well, I think it's naptime for me....but I'll be giving tours this weekend for Summer Orientation and doing the O-Staff thing, so maybe I'll see some of you cool kids????

Later!!!
