Riding a train with a terrorist

Posted by on March 2, 2013

When we arrived at the train station in Ahmedabad I was already feeling anxious because I was not a fan of the last train ride. When we got on the train we got all settled into our even smaller sleeping compartments than last train ride. When the train started moving we all started relaxing and we ended up making a friend with an Indian man on the train that was going to Delhi to get more dried fruit for his store in Ahmedabad. Then for some odd reason we got on the topic of Kashmir and he asked us if we saw men with big guns get on the train and we were like ya we did. He then proceeded to tell us that those 8 men with huge guns were on this train escorting a Terrorist from Kashmir to Delhi. And yes this terrorist and the police officers were just a few beds down from us. Our new friend told us that this terrorist and his friend set of three bombs in Kashmir and they have killed about 170 people. The terrorists friend is in jail in Kashmir and probably will never leave. Apparently they were setting of these bombs because they want Kashmir to be its own independent country and hate the government. Now after hearing all of this what did all of us of course want to do?…… See the terrorist! So we casually walked down the cabin. So the terrorist was not hand cuffed or bound up in any way but he was just chatting it up with the police officers. We walked by a second time and finally got the nerve to talk to the police men. They were so chill and when the terrorist got up to use the bath room ( and two men with big guns following him) some of the police men started bragging to me about how they caught this man. Let me tell you ( since I survived the train ride) that is not a journey I will forget!
