Meet an RA!

So, I'm taking Tomas' advice. It's a good idea. So, let's see...

I'm a big sister. My baby sister is a high school senior this year *tear* We're really close and I love her terribly. Of course, there are moments when she's utterly annoying, but I'm generally overjoyed to see her when I come home or she comes up. I'm also sure I'm a pretty cool daughter cool. My mom is a single parent and a native of Belize. She actually just got her citizenship during exam week in May. I love her to death and enjoy her sarcasm immensely. My mom's a cool cat. I take friends home whenever I can to eat her amazing food.

Speaking of food, I'm a creature of interesting appetites. I don't eat wings, watermelon, or gravy. I hate for my food to touch (except for my favorite meal of salmon and mashed potatoes which I mix together). I probably love ice cream and popsicles more than the average 5 year old. Starches are my favorite food group. I love red bell pepper. Broccoli makes my stomach hurt, but it's one of my favorite vegetables. My mom cooks a lot of Belizean dishes for me. I love her rice and beans, tamales, panadas, and plantains. I eat and don't eat things that surprise people. I'm fine with it.

I love working out. The gym always makes me feel better after a stressful day. I often find myself in there more than once during the day. I run track for Wofford, which I love. But, in the spring especially, it keeps me busy. Most Friday afternoons I find myself on my way to one track or another during the spring. And during the semester I have afternoon workouts or weights and the like.

At school, I'm a pretty social creature. I'm at every home football game, out at the Row hanging out and getting my dance on most Friday and Saturday nights, talking to whoever I meet on the hall or on the sidewalks or at dinner in Burwell. I always have my phone with me & I've become a serious textaholic this year. I call my mom most nights after dinner before I start work, & that's as big a part of my schedule as classes or anything else.

I'm an ISB (Intercultural Studies for Business) major and in love with the Spanish language. Right now I'm extremely excited about the trips I am planning: one in January to Mexico & the other next fall to Mallorca for a semester. I hope to go to grad school at USC after graduation and afterwards move to either Atlanta or Charlotte to live.

As for this fall, I'll be living in Greene in either 207 or 208, I can't remember which number right now. I have no roommate, so I'll definitely love company. This past year, my door was basically always open and it'll probably be the same way this year. I have good snacks, and definitely lots to share, so anyone who wants to stop by for a few minutes and chat will be a welcome study break & will be rewarded with food if they so desire it.

I'm really not all that interesting. But I'm an open book, so if there's anything else you really wanna know, just ask. Laterz!
