A Thought That Hadn't Occured to Me...

While it's a bummer to leave my newfound besties for the summer; and while I knew that there are several people I know who will not be returning next semester. It never in a million years occurred to me that one of my newfound besties might not be returning next semester. That, my friends, is earth-shattering news no matter how I try and look at it. I'm ill equipped to deal with it, and this blogger wonders what Wofford will be for her next year without this friend who means so much. I love it here, I really do; but so much of what makes Wofford for me is the people I've met here and the close friends I've made...this one especially. So not only am I afraid of what next semester without that person here means, I'm also afraid of what'll happen. What if we don't call or don't write or don't facebook like we say we will? For the first time since September, college scares me again.
