I am officially a legal resident in Copenhagen, Denmark!
And to celebrate I’m going to Christiania for the afternoon with some friends upstairs. Currently, I’m sitting in my living room listening to Louis Armstrong’s voice singing What a Wonderful World and I feel so relaxed and happy even though it’s overcast and chilly. But let’s be honest, sweater weather is better weather.
Last night was spent mostly wandering around the city lost, but I wouldn’t say it was bad night since the city is so pretty (and safe) at night… Especially the Tivoli.
Thursday night was fun also. DANES DO NOT MESS AROUND WHEN THEY GO OUT.
I got home around 7:30 in the morning I was officially dead. I’m pretty sure I fell asleep for a few seconds that the bar once or twice. But I met a lot of cool Danes who were nice enough to take this American with a weird southern accent out!
I had my first two days of class and I love all of them so far. Such cool teachers and assignments and study tours and everything. Looking forward to it all!
However, I may not be able to keep doing this 7:30 am business… It was exhausting.
xx Emma
