Immediately after Thanksgiving break Wofford students look forward to a special event before diving into final exam preparations. On Tuesday Wofford welcomed students to the annual Candlelight Carols service in Leonard Auditorium. Wreathes, bows, and Christmas lights gave Old Main a homey feel as students garbed in ornate Christmas sweater entered the building. Various student groups sang carols, read scripture, and performed their individual musical talents. The service was a beautiful way to bring the Wofford community together in the middle of the holiday season. The student body exited the auditorium, each student with a candle in hand, to the hum of “Silent Night”. Tradition is everything at Wofford.
